Christine Hayden

Christine Hayden, age 79, of Kentwood, passed away on Thursday, January 15, 2026. She was survived by her son, Tim Hayden; grandchildren, Frances Nappo and Harold Nappo; siblings, Linda Campbell, Mel and Kathy Hutchinson; many nieces, nephews, and cousins. She was preceded in death by her husband, Bruce Hayden. Christine took great pride in being a special education teacher for many years. She was active in her church and loved being in the bell choir. Christine volunteered for the Very Special Arts, and enjoyed quilting, card making, and storytelling. A memorial service will be held on Saturday, April 11, 2026, 11 a.m. at Caledonia Vine Street Church, 250 Vine St. SE, Caledonia. Relatives and friends may greet the family one hour prior to the service at church from 10-11 a.m. Those who wish, may make a memorial contribution to Habitat for Humanity or The American Red Cross for disaster relief.
