
Paul Allen Kroon, born November 10, 1958, joined his beloved brother into eternal rest on May 3, 2026 with his faithful canine companions, Coy and Min, by his side. Paul was known to have an exemplary work ethic and was dedicated to serving others, even at the expense of his own health. He was proud of his 12 years of service in the United States Air Force and his 22 years working as a corrections officer in Wisconsin.
He is survived by his seven children; Chad (Michelle), Kevin, David, Jody (Wendy), Jeremy (Vanessa), Amy and Savannah; grandchildren and four great-grandchildren, five siblings and many nieces and nephews.
A luncheon will be held on Saturday, May 9 from 12-2 pm at the Church of the Open Door, 1730 Burlingame SW, Wyoming. Relatives and friends may meet the family on Saturday, May 9, from 3-4 pm at Matthysse Kuiper DeGraaf Funeral Home, 1601 Post Drive NE, Belmont. Paul will be interred with military honors at Fort Custer National Cemetery during a private ceremony. He will be laid to rest near his brother, Tom. In lieu of flowers, please consider a donation to the Michigan Chapter of the Cystic Fibrosis Foundation.
