Charles Ray Van Valkenburg

Charles R. Van Valkenburg, age 83 of Comstock Park. God called Chuck home on Wednesday, November 5, 2025. Chuck was a kind and easy-going husband, dad, and grandpa who dearly loved his family. Chuck retired from Spartan Stores after many years of dedicated service. He enjoyed working in his yard, golfing, and camping in his earlier years, as well as getting together with friends. Chuck especially cherished celebrating birthdays and holidays with his family. He proudly served his country in the US Army during the Vietnam War. His legacy will be forever cherished and missed by those who knew him. He will be lovingly remembered by his wife of 61 years, Carolynne; his sons, Steven and Mark; daughter, Kimberly; granddaughters, Lauren and Brooke; great-granddaughter, Shae Lynn, and loving extended family members and dear friends. A private family graveside service will be held at Rosedale Memorial Park.
