Charles Kuehl, Jr.

Charles “Ed, Charlie, Chuck” Edward Kuehl, Jr. age 79, of Jenison, passed away on Thursday, December 4, 2025. Charles was a veteran of the United States Marine Corps who served in Vietnam. He spent over 40 years with the US Postal Service, retiring in 2006. Chuck enjoyed woodworking, all genres of music, and was an avid supporter of the Grandville HS marching band. He  was a 16-year season ticket holder for the Grand Rapids Griffins, he cheered for all of the Detroit sports teams, and he was a life-long fan of the University of Michigan. His greatest joy came from spending time with his family. Chuck will be lovingly remembered by his wife of 33 years, Anita; children, Jon and Colleen Kuehl, James and Kris Kuehl, James and Andrea Cook, Matt and Patti Cook; 16 grandchildren; one great-grandchild; sister, Christina and Dennis Trojanek; nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his parents, Charles and Oral Kuehl; and sister, Barb Mustori. Relatives and friends may visit with the family Wednesday, December 10 from 2-4 pm at Matthysse Kuiper DeGraaf Funeral Home (Grandville) 4145 Chicago Dr. SW. In lieu of flowers, those who wish may make memorial contributions to the Alzheimer’s Association or Parkinson’s Foundation.
