Charles Arthur Anderson, age 48, of Grand Rapids passed away unexpectedly on Super Bowl Sunday, February 7, 2021. He was preceded in death by his father, John Anderson; nephew Collin Anderson. Charles is lovingly remembered by his mother, Doris Anderson; daughters, Alise Anderson, Hailee Anderson, Bethany Anderson; brother and sister-in-law, David and Aubrey Anderson; niece and nephew, Cassie, and Drew Anderson; half-siblings, Sally, John, and Barb; aunt and uncle, Jane and Chuck Hannan; dog, Simba; extended family and friends. Charles worked for S. Abraham and Sons, Inc. for 15 years managing their IT department. Charles enjoyed following sports, especially the Denver Broncos, the University of Michigan, and anything baseball related. Charles will always be a part of the “Monday Night Football Guys” of Mike, Dan, Jason, Derek, Geoff, Jeff, and Charles’ brother, Dave. Private funeral services will be held at 11 am on Wednesday, February 17, 2021 at Matthysse Kuiper DeGraaf Funeral Home (Grandville) 4145 Chicago Dr. SW with Rev. Michael Peters officiating. The service will be available via livestream at www.mkdfuneralhome.com. Burial Fairplains Cemetery. Relatives and friends may meet the family Tuesday from 5-8 pm at the funeral home.
