Cecilia Rincones

Cecilia Rincones, age 92, of Wyoming, went to be with her Lord on Monday, December 9, 2024. She was preceded in death by her husband, Francisco “Frank” Rincones, Sr.; daughter, Herlinda Lopez; great granddaughter, Emily Reed; parents, Policarpo, Sr., and Rafaela Lopez; siblings, Sarah Herrera, Martha Hernandez, Ruben Lopez, Elias Lopez, Samuel Lopez, Rachel Lopez, and Daniel Lopez. She is survived by her brother, Policarpio, Jr. and sister, Julia Lopez. Cecilia will be lovingly remembered by her children, Frank “Frankie” Rincones, Jr., Manuelita “Nelly” and beloved son-in-law, George Martinez, Pamela Rincones, José Manuel (Rachel) Rincones; 14 grandchildren; 21 great grandchildren; 12 great-great grandchildren; many loving nieces and nephews, extended family and friends, including treasured relatives in Mexico. Cecilia was known and loved by anyone who met her and was known for her amazing food made with the special ingredient of her love. She was affectionately known as “The Mom” and an avid Detroit Tigers fan. She was a woman of deep faith and a prayer warrior that many called upon in times of need. She was a small woman with a big, big heart. She will be dearly missed. Funeral services will be held 11 a.m. on Wednesday, December 18, 2024 at  Matthysse Kuiper DeGraaf Funeral Home, 4145 Chicago Drive SW, Grandville.  Burial will be held at Resurrection Cemetery.  Relatives and friends may meet the family Tuesday, December 17 from 2-4 and 6-8 pm at  Matthysse Kuiper DeGraaf Funeral Home, 4145 Chicago Drive SW, Grandville. In lieu of flowers, those who wish may make memorial contributions to Emmanuel Hospice.
