Cathy Jo Wills

Cathy Jo Wills (Castle), age 62, of Grand Rapids, was called to her heavenly home on Saturday, December 25, 2021. She was preceded in death by her husband of 25 years, Robert; parents, Lewis Castle and Mary Ellen Castle-Burkholder; sister, Lou Ellen Castle, and brother, Joel Castle. She will be lovingly remembered by her daughters, Holly and her husband, Brian Garrett, Emily Wills; nieces, Kellie Davis, Fiyona Davis, Jaida Davis, LeeAnne, Pamela, Lisa, Dyondra, nephew, Kendrick Harris, and their many children. Cathy Jo was a fun-loving, caring, warm woman who loved her family and enjoyed spending time with them. She developed a love of elephants as a worker for Crown Amusements. She was a foster parent for several years and enjoyed taking care of the small children. The funeral service will be held at 12:30 pm on Friday, December 31, 2021 at Matthysse Kuiper DeGraaf Funeral Home, 4646 Kalamazoo Ave. SE, Kentwood. Burial at Rutland Township Cemetery. Relatives and friends may meet the family Friday from 11:30 am – 12:30 pm prior to the service at the funeral home. Those who wish may make memorial contributions to the Pregnancy Resource Center.
