Catherine   Vander Lugt

Vander Lugt, Catherine Catherine C. (Potgeter) Vander Lugt, age 86, of Allendale, went to be with her Lord on Monday, December 23, 2013.   She was preceded in death by her son, Dale Vander Lugt; parents, Arie and Alice Potgeter; sisters, Hermina Geurink, Erna Potgeter.  She will be lovingly remembered by her husband of 65 years, Fred; children, Linda Vander Lugt, Nancee and David Kraker, Wesley and Denise Vander Lugt, Bev and Scott Launiere, Lorraine Vander Lugt; grandchildren, Tania and Andy Miner, Dawn and Frank Kuperus, Jeremy and Carrie Kraker, Abbie and Andrew Woudwyk, Jordan, Breanne, Jacob, Caleb and Madison Vander Lugt, Nicole and Kurt Bode, Tony Launiere; great grandchildren, Isaac, Benny, Landon, and Josie Kuperus, baby Kraker who is due any day, Matthew Bode; sisters, Betty Wiersma, Frieda Blauwkamp, Cora Bussis, Marie and Ade Geurink; many nieces and nephews; her faithful lifelong friend, Adrianna Langeland.  The family wishes to thank the staff at Allendale Nursing Home for their loving care.  Funeral services will be held Friday 11 am at First Allendale Christian Reformed Church, 5734 Country View, Allendale with Rev. Tim Howerzyl officiating.  Interment Allendale Township Cemetery.  Relatives and friends may meet the family Thursday from 5-8 pm at Matthysse-Kuiper-DeGraaf (corner of Avery and Scott) 6651 Scott St., Allendale.  Those who wish may make memorial contributions to Love INC of Allendale or The Family Life Center.
