Caroline Schrier

Caroline Schrier (Diekman), age 90, of Grandville, a faithful servant of her Lord and Savior was delivered to her heavenly home on Wednesday, July 19, 2023. She was preceded in death by her husband of 62 years, Robert. Caroline will be lovingly remembered by her children, Jeffrey and Pamela Schrier, Jennifer and Daniel Nagelkerke, Jessica and Craig Scholten, Jameson and Jane Schrier, and Jocelyn Miedema. She also leaves behind 19 grandchildren and 23 great-grandchildren, many of whom share fond memories of swim parties, sleepovers, homemade cinnamon rolls, and listening to her tell countless Bible stories. Caroline loved God’s creation and could often be found working in her beautiful flower garden, walking, swimming laps in her pool, and even shoveling snow. She was an avid reader who especially loved God’s Word and accumulated a vast library of theological and historical books which she used to strengthen her knowledge and faith in her eternal salvation. To honor her request, a private family graveside service will be held at Grandville Cemetery.
