Carole Ringes Newton

Carole Ringes Newton, age 83, of Alto, MI, passed away on Wednesday, December 9, 2020. She was preceded in death by her parents, Laura and Alex Ringes; brother, Gerald and Ina Ringes; son Daniel Newton. She will be lovingly remembered by her husband, Gordon; children, Catherine and David Small, David and Katherine Newton, Susan Guerrero, Robert and Karen Newton, Laurie and Robert Ericksen; 15 grandchildren; 5 great-grandchildren, and 2 great-grandchildren expected in 2021; many nieces, nephews, and dear friends. Carole was a giving woman, a great mother, and a loving wife. She was always there for anyone who needed her. A private service will be held on Monday at Holy Family Catholic Church with Rev. Phil Shangraw officiating. Burial will follow at Glen Eden Memorial Park. Those who wish may make memorial contributions to God’s Kitchen or Guiding Light Ministries.
