Carol White

Carol Jo Ann (Penny) White, age 87, of Hudsonville, Michigan, went to be with her Lord and Savior on Tuesday, January 7, 2025. Carol will be remembered as a loving, generous and humorous wife, mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, great-great-grandmother, sister, and friend. She will be also remembered for her faith in Christ which was reflected in her selfless acts for others. She was always there with a kind word, greeting card or cookies for those who needed to know someone cared. Carol was the beloved wife of Duane, and they were blessed to share 68 years together. In addition to her husband, she will also be deeply loved and missed by her children, Nancy (Jim) Zwyghuizen, Scott (Terri) White, Karen (Randy) Cook, Amy (Dan) Winkler, and Kirk (Robin) White; 14 grandchildren, 30 great-grandchildren; and two great-great-grandchildren. Carol was preceded in death by her firstborn son, Dennis. Funeral services will be held on Tuesday, January 14, at 11 a.m. at Holy Cross Lutheran Church, 1481 Baldwin St., Jenison, with Pastor Adam Peck officiating. The burial will take place at Blendon Township Cemetery. Relatives and friends may visit with the family on Monday, January 13, from 4-7 p.m. at Matthysse Kuiper DeGraaf Funeral Home (Grandville) 4145 Chicago Dr. SW and on Tuesday from 10-11 a.m. at the church prior to the service. Those who wish may make memorial contributions to Holy Cross Lutheran Church or Faith Hospice.
