Carol Lorraine Lubbers

Carol Lorraine Lubbers, age 81, of Wyoming, passed away on Tuesday, September 16, 2025.  Carol was an avid fan of the Detroit Tigers and Whitecaps.  She was a longtime member of the Wyoming Moose Lodge 763.  She loved playing cards with family and friends, spending time at the Wyoming Senior Center, and most of all, spending time with her family.  Carol was preceded in death by her son, Gordy Lubbers III.  She will be lovingly remembered by her sons: Scott and Brenda Lubbers, Tim and Kristy Lubbers; grandchildren: Gordy Lubbers IV (fiancée, Stacy), Melissa and Ken Koster, Nick Lubbers (Samantha), Jason Lubbers, Jessica Lubbers (Zack); great grandchildren: Lelynd, Emmalynn, Oliver, Anthony; many nieces, nephews and special great niece, Theresa Chrisman.  She was also well loved by the Women of the Moose, and many lifelong friends.  

Memorial services will be held 2 p.m. Sunday, September 28, 2025  at  Matthysse Kuiper DeGraaf Funeral Home, 4031 Clyde Park Ave SW, Wyoming, with James Ypma officiating.  Burial will be held at Resurrection Cemetery.  Relatives and friends may meet the family Sunday from 1-2 p.m. at  the funeral home. Those who wish may make memorial contributions to Moose Heart.
