Kathleen Malone

Kathleen E. Malone (Baker), age 83, of Warren Michigan, passed away peacefully Thursday, September 24, 2026.

Kathy grew up in Warren, Michigan, where she lived and enjoyed much of her life. She graduated from Warren High School in 1961 and worked as a secretary at General Motors for many years. Kathy was known for her happiness and wonderful sense of humor, always bringing warmth and joy to those around her. She was an avid reader of mysteries and had a deep love for animals, especially her beloved pets at home. Above all, she was a wonderful wife, mother and grandmother who cherished her family. She appreciated each season of life and especially enjoyed decorating her home to celebrate the changing seasons throughout the year. 

She was preceded in death by her parents, Harold and Helen Baker. She will be lovingly remembered and dearly missed by her husband of 56 years George Malone; son and daughter-in-law Michael and Kara Malone; and grandchildren, Collin Malone and Evelyn Malone. 

Per the family's wishes, a private family burial will be held at Resurrection Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, those who wish may make memorial contributions to Best Friends Animal Society.
