Carol Cooper

Carol (Bloem) Cooper, age 93, of Jenison, went home to be with her Lord on Sunday, December 27, 2020. She was preceded in death by her husband, Ken; brother, Hank and Joyce Bloem; sister, Shirley and Ted Egeler; brothers-in-law, Jack and Jo Cooper, Herb Marsman. She will be lovingly remembered by her daughters, Linda and Paul VandenToorn, Cathy and Gord Bruinsma; grandchildren, Kristen and Brent Helms, Katie and Tim Nagelkirk, Brad and Shelley Bruinsma, Tim and Kate Bruinsma; great-grandchildren, Olivia, Ethan and Ava Helms, Bella, Vivian and Tessa Nagelkirk, Josh, Drew, and Emma Bruinsma, Dylan, Natalie, Amaya and Cooper Bruinsma; brother, George and Jean Bloem; sister, Elaine Marsman; and many nieces and nephews. Funeral services will be held at 11 am on Monday, January 18, 2021 at Fairway CRC, 1165 44th St., Jenison, with Pastor Ed Tamminga officiating. Burial Georgetown Township Cemetery. Relatives and friends may meet the family Sunday, January 17 from 4-7 pm at Matthysse Kuiper DeGraaf Funeral Home (Grandville) 4145 Chicago Dr. SW and on Monday one hour prior to the service at church. Those who wish may make memorial contributions to the Mission Fund at Fairway CRC.
