Carlos Vega

Carlos Vega, age 61, of Wyoming, passed away unexpectedly at home on Tuesday, April 25, 2023. Carlos proudly graduated from Rogers High School in 1980 and loved the Texas Longhorns. He was preceded in death by his father, Raul Vega, and his uncle, Refugio Cortez. He will be lovingly remembered by his mother, Refugia Vega; sisters: Gloria Vega and Mike Courtade, Anna Marie Vega; brother, Raul and Angie Vega; nieces and nephews: Raymond Courtade, Alysia (Jerry) Gutierrez, Raul F. Vega, Lorenzo Vega, Nicolas Vega-Stubblefield, Natalie M. Stubblefield; many great nieces and nephews; aunts, Maria Ladow, Terry Cortez. A funeral service will be held at 11 a.m. on Wednesday, May 3, 2023 at Matthysse Kuiper DeGraaf Funeral Home, 4031 Clyde Park SW, Wyoming, with Deacon John Cortez officiating. Burial will be held at Resurrection Cemetery. Relatives and friends may meet the family Wednesday from 10-11 a.m. at the funeral home.
