
Carl Haff, age 74, of Jenison passed away peacefully at his home and went to be with his Lord on Sunday, December 22, 2024. Carl will be best remembered for his servant’s heart. That service started when he joined the U.S. Army and served during the Vietnam War. Carl continued to serve others after he returned home by helping his neighbors and all those around him with anything they needed. He is preceded in death by parents Gordon and Mina Haff; and his brother, Donald Haff. He will be lovingly remembered by his wife of 18 years, Patricia; children Shawn, Shane, Carlee Hayes; step-children, Melissa Reid, Brenda Cashman; grandchildren, Max (Maxie), Kennedy (Ruby), Kylon (Mr. Goodwrench), Brayla (Half Pint); step grandchildren, Kelton (Buster), Caleb (Corky), Jozzy (Bugsy), Cam (Cashew), Olivia (Olivia Newton), Hannah (Hunna Lu-Lu), Zack (Frankie), David (George Beck); 2 great-grandchildren, Athena, Abigail; 4 siblings; and many nieces, and nephews. A memorial service will be held on Saturday, January 11, 2025, at 1 p.m. at Chapel Pointe (Byron Center) 6252 Burlingame Ave SW with Pastor Andrew Honeycutt officiating. Burial will take place at Floral View Memorial Gardens. Those who wish may make memorial contributions to the Wounded Warrior Project.
