Bruce Hans Christensen Sr.

Bruce Hans Christensen Sr., aged 79 of Wyoming, went home to be with his Lord on Tuesday, July 3, 2018. He will be lovingly remembered by his wife, Ruth; sons, Bruce Jr., Brian (Donelle), Brice, Brent (Deb); grandchildren, Zachary (Ashley), Mariah, Skyler, Kamron; two great grandchildren, Ellisyn and Everett; brothers and sisters, Theo (Sharon) Christensen, Sherry (Richard) Mys; many nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his parents, Elwood and Annabelle Christensen; and granddaughter, Alicia Christensen. He proudly served in the U.S. Marines.  Bruce retired after many years from Steelcase.  He was also a member of AA for 36 years.  A funeral service for Bruce will be held 11:00 a.m. Tuesday at Matthysse Kuiper DeGraaf Funeral Home, 4145 Chicago Dr., Grandville with Dr. David Lee Smith officiating. Interment Kent Memorial Gardens. Relatives and friends may meet the family at the funeral home Monday from 2-4 p.m. and 6-8 p.m. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to help defray funeral expenses.
