Bruce E. Campbell

Bruce E. Campbell, age 73, of Byron Center, passed away unexpectedly on Saturday, December 5, 2015 after a long battle with heart disease. He was a loving husband, dad and grandpa who had a great sense of humor. He worked for many years in the drapery business, most recently retiring from Creative Window Treatments. As an avid outdoorsman, he especially loved to be out on the lake fishing. He was preceded in death by his parents, Fred Campbell, Jr. and Virginia Bouw-Kappel; brother, Jay Campbell. He will be lovingly remembered by his wife of 45 years, Marjorie; daughter, Janet and Michael Dunn; grandson, Michael Dunn III; sister, Susanne Bouw; several brothers-in-law, sisters-in-law; many nieces and nephews. A memorial service will be held on Friday 11am at Matthysse-Kuiper-DeGraaf Funeral Home (Grandville) 4145 Chicago Dr. SW, with Pastor Dennis Gilbert officiating. Relatives and friends may meet the family on Friday from 10-11am prior to the service at the funeral home. Those who wish may make memorial contributions to American Heart Association.
