Bruce Sackrison

Billie Bruce Sackrison, Jr., age 83, of Jenison, passed away on Sunday, July 19, 2026. He was preceded in death by his parents, Bill and Angie Sackrison, and brother, Mike Sackrison. Bruce will be lovingly remembered by his wife of 61 years, Nancy; children, Chad Sackrison and partner Ana Gonzalez, and Tyler Sackrison Jameslyn and Jennifer Jameslyn; grandchildren, Cam Sackrison and partner Kailey Kozminski, Dorothy Jameslyn, Lucy Jameslyn, Margeaux Jameslyn, Charlie Jameslyn; brothers, Craig and Jan Sackrison, Rick and Pam Sackrison; sisters, Nancy Dorman, Lori and Mel Burd; Mike’s wife, Mary Beth Sackrison; Nancy’s brother, Walt and Cindy Schultze; nieces and nephews, extended family and friends. Bruce was the co-owner of Master Die and Engineering for many years. He cherished his time with his family, particularly traveling on family vacations, spending time with his grandchildren, and fishing with his grandson, Charlie. Bruce enjoyed spending summers with his loving wife, Nancy, and good friends, Rick and Pennie Westers, on their boat in Grand Haven. Bruce was hardworking, dedicated to his family, and he maintained a positive attitude and a great sense of humor through so much adversity. A Celebration of Bruce’s Life will be held at 11 am on Tuesday, July 28, 2026, at Matthysse Kuiper DeGraaf Funeral Home (Grandville) 4145 Chicago Dr. SW. Burial will take place at Floral View Memorial Gardens. Relatives and friends may visit with the family Monday, July 27 from 6-8 pm at the funeral home and on Tuesday from 10-11 am prior to the service.
