Beverly Hanners

October 22, 1949 ~
March 15, 2025

In the twilight of morning on March 15, 2025, in the presence of her Lord, Beverly D. Hanners left us for her permanent residence in Heaven. Wife of Daniel F. Hanners Jr. Mother to Christopher and wife Hope, David and wife Meagan, and Jonathon Hanners. Grandmother to Alex, Chloe, Connor, Jarek, Carter, Hudson, and Berkley Hanners. Friend and comforter to all who met and knew her. Bev spent the entirety of her life in the service of others. From serving as a nurse to combatants and POW’s during the Vietnam War; demonstrating the Proverbs 31 example to her husband and children; ministering to neighbors and friends in need; praying with and laying hands on those ailing in healing rooms at church; hosting fellowship gatherings in their home; Bev has a servants heart and demonstrated it in all she did, everywhere she found herself, to everyone she ever met. Her life and influence has impacted generations and people she won’t even realize until they too meet her and join her at “Home”. Her absence is sorely and deeply felt by all, and yet, her Heavenly homecoming is greatly rejoiced. Funeral services will be held at 2 pm on Tuesday, March 18, 2025 at Matthysse Kuiper DeGraaf Funeral Home (Grandville) 4145 Chicago Dr. SW with Pastor Tony Hall officiating. Burial will take place at Crestwood Memorial Cemetery in Grand Blanc, MI. Relatives and friends may visit with the family Tuesday from 1-2 pm at the funeral home prior to the service.

In reverence and thanks,

The Hanners family
