Beverly Ann Viana

Beverly Ann Viana, age 86, of Grand Rapids, passed away on Thursday, July 6, 2023. She was born in Syracuse, New York on May 9, 1937. After graduating from Vocational High School, she worked in the office of Prosperity Company until her marriage to John on June 18, 1960. In 1965, Beverly and her family moved to Grand Rapids, Michigan. Later, Beverly and John retired to the Hastings, Michigan area. Beverly was filled with love and compassion for family and enjoyed gardening, cooking, sewing and her pets. She will be sadly missed. She was preceded in death by her husband, John; parents, George and Helen; brother, Raymond; and daughter, Dawn Marie. She will be lovingly remembered by her son, David (Shelly) Viana and their children, Kyle (Kourtney), Justin, Torie and great grandson, Silas; daughter, Deborah (Paul) Mabin and their daughters, Kaleah and Jayde; sisters, Carol (Karl) Hamilton, Phyllis (Michael) Elmore; brother, Paul (Sue) Robinson. A private service will be held at MKD Stegenga Funeral Chapel with a private burial held at Woodlawn Cemetery next to her husband. The family wishes to express their sincere gratitude to the staff of Maple Ridge Manor and Careline Hospice for their loving care of Beverly.
