Betty Ubbink

Betty Joan Ubbink, age 93, of Grandville, passed away peacefully to be with her Lord and Savior on Thursday, November 7, 2024. Betty was very involved in her church and also enjoyed quilting, gardening, canning and making bread. She was preceded in death by her parents, Fred and Marjorie Gray; sisters, Geraldine Glenn, LaVonne Shirley, Marjorie Lea Anderson, and Rosemary Haskell; brother, Phillip Gray; and one great-grandchild, Harrison. She will be lovingly remembered by her husband of 69 years, Milton; children, Carol Ann (Bill) Van Wyk, Dirk Allyn (Melanie) Ubbink, Beth Michelle (Tim) Morgan; nine grandchildren; 16 great-grandchildren; siblings, Leland (Evelyn) Gray; Janice Gray; four nephews and 12 nieces. Funeral services will be held on Wednesday, November 13, at 11 a.m. at Matthysse Kuiper DeGraaf Funeral Home (Grandville) 4145 Chicago Dr. SW with Pastor Terry Burlingame officiating. The burial will take place at Chapel Hill Memorial Gardens. Relatives and friends may visit with the family on Wednesday from 10-11 a.m. at the funeral home prior to the service.
