Betty Frances Cullin

Betty Frances Cullin, age 90, of Wyoming, passed away peacefully at home on Thursday, February 25, 2021. She was born in Rockford, MI to Everett and Irene Ryan. Her greatest joy and love was her family. She and her husband, Raynard “Buss” shared a loving marriage of 69 years. She will also be lovingly remembered by her children: Robin and Bill Scott, Denny and Sally Cullin, Brian and Kathi Cullin, Tammi and Kyle Drechsel; grandchildren: Jenni and Nic, Craig and Angela, Melissa, Ryan and Coral, Nathan, Tanya, Amber; great grandchildren: Connor, Madison, Jaide, Rylee, Isabella, Colton, Brianna; sisters and brothers: Duane Ryan, Norma Lentz, Everett and Alpha Ryan, Tina Ryan; many nieces, nephews and caring friends. She was preceded in death by her parents; brothers and sisters: Irv Ryan, Bobbie and Mac McIntyre, Bob Lentz and BJ Ryan. In her early years she worked at the soda fountain in Rockford and later, as a secretary for Kmart and Kentwood School District. Over the years she enjoyed traveling, crafting, bowling, golf, camping, snowmobiling and the outdoors. Her favorite thing to do was cooking and making peanut brittle and always making sure all were well fed. Relatives and friends may meet the family Saturday, March 6 from 12:30 to 1:30 pm at Matthysse Kuiper DeGraaf Funeral Home, 4646 Kalamazoo Ave. SE, Kentwood. A private service is being held at 2:00 p.m. and can be viewed livestream at www.mkdfuneralhome.com A memorial service will be held at a later date. In lieu of flowers, those who wish may make memorial contributions to Faith Hospice or Gilda’s Club.
