Betty Carol Grooters

Betty Carol Grooters, age 78, of Jenison, went to be with the Lord on Friday, May 27, 2016. She will be lovingly remembered by her husband of 60 years, Bernie Grooters; children, Becky and Ed Steenbergen, Bernie and Pattie Grooters, Bev and Der Prins; 8 grandchildren; 19 great grandchildren; sisters and brother, Joy and Rog Slagter, Helen and Jim Kuipers, Judy Geers, Randy and Peg Mulder; sisters-in-law and brothers-in-law, Daughn Cook, Bill and Bernice Grooters, Stan and Deb Grooters. She was preceded in death by her brothers-in-law, Dan Grooters and Warren Cook.  Funeral services will be held on Wednesday, June 1, at 11 AM at Baldwin Street Christian Reformed Church, 2101 Baldwin Street, Jenison, with Rev. Jerry Van Groningen officiating.  Interment Allendale Township Cemetery.  Relatives and friends may meet the family Tuesday, May 31, from 6-9 PM at Matthysse-Kuiper-DeGraaf Funeral Home (Grandville) 4145 Chicago Drive SW.  Those who wish may make memorial contributions to Love INC.
