Beryl Edward Fischer

Beryl Edward Fischer, aged 93 of Caledonia, the Lord called him home on Sunday, January 28, 2018. He was preceded in death by his wife, Henrietta; brothers, Warren and Donald Fischer; grandson, Brandon Kabelman. He is survived by his children, Joan (Alan) Stack, Bob Fischer and Claudia DeBruyn, Jim (Paulette) Fischer, Jane (Gerry) Kabelman; grandchildren, Douglas Stack and Rick Vining, Timothy Stack and Angela Schmidt, Angie and Todd Coe, Andy Fischer, Dayna Fischer, Derek Fischer, Jamison and Samantha Kabelman, Michelle Kabelman; 12 great grandchildren; sister in law, Louise Jahnke; and many nieces and nephews. Beryl proudly served his country in the US Army during WWII. He was a lifelong member of St. Paul Lutheran Church in Caledonia. Funeral services for Beryl will be held on Thursday at 11:00 am at St. Paul Lutheran Church, 8436 Kraft Avenue SE, Caledonia with Rev. Timothy Brand officiating. Interment Holy Corners Cemetery. Relatives and friends may meet the family on Wednesday from 4-7 pm at Matthysse Kuiper DeGraaf Funeral Home, 616 E. Main Street, Caledonia, and on Thursday at the church one hour prior to the service. Memorial contributions may be made to St. Paul Lutheran Church.
