Bernice Oakeson

Bernice Loraine Oakeson, age 85, of Jenison, passed away peacefully on Saturday, February 9, 2019.  She was preceded in death by her husband, Arnold “Oakie” Oakeson; sisters, Bonnie McCloud, Merry Berglund.  She will be lovingly remembered by her children, Sandi and Brad Clegg, Scott Oakeson, Kellie and Dan Durr; grandchildren, Taylor, Alex, and Jack Clegg, Matthew and Joseph Durr;  brother, Richard and Linda Berglund; much loved niece, Jennifer; sister, Barbara Lane; several nieces and nephews.  A private burial service will be held at Rest Lawn Memorial Park. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Special Olympics or Humane Society of West Michigan.
