Benjamin Jeurink

Benjamin Jeurink, age 96, of Allendale, went to his heavenly home peacefully on Saturday, April 15, 2017.  He was preceded in death by two granddaughters, Kendra and Tanya Jeurink, and a great grandson, Charlie Skruch.  He will be lovingly remembered by his wife of 68 years, Isabelle; children, Ken and Arlene Jeurink, Rog and Ruth Jeurink, Sharon and Rick Kloosterhouse, Arlyn and Rose Jeurink, Larry and Dori Jeurink; many grandchildren and great grandchildren; sister-in-law, Lucy Hoffman; brother-in-law, Delbert and Janice Hoffman; and many nieces and nephews.  Ben was a farmer all his life and also retired from Keeler Brass after 31 years.  Funeral services will be held on Wednesday, April 19, 2017 at 11:00 a.m. at Second Church, 6950 Lake Michigan Drive, Allendale, with Rev. Harold Veldman officiating. Interment Allendale Township Cemetery.  Relatives and friends may meet the family on Tuesday from 6-8 p.m. at Matthysse-Kuiper-DeGraaf (corner of Avery and Scott) 6651 Scott St., Allendale.  In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Guiding Light Mission or Forgotten Man Ministries.
