Benjamin Eisma

Benjamin John Eisma, age 85, loving husband, father, grandfather, and great-grandfather, passed away on Tuesday, May 18, 2021, and is now in the arms of Jesus. “And He said, well done, thou good and faithful servant!” Matthew 25:21. Ben was preceded in death by his precious wife of 57 years, Esther. He will be deeply missed by his children, Kim (Bob) Workman, Dan (Deb) Eisma, Ruth (Daryl) Dykhouse, Denise (Paul) Hoekwater, and Doug (Linda) Eisma; as well as 27 grandchildren and 16 great-grandchildren. Ben was committed to his country and proudly served in the U.S. Army. He was a lifelong member of Hope Christian Reformed Church. His sincere faith in Jesus Christ as his Lord and Savior, gentle kind spirit, cheerful smile, generosity, and devoted love for his wife and family are truly how his family and friends will remember him. Ben's family expresses a sincere and heartfelt thank you to the staff at Rose Garden and Emmanuel Hospice for the loving care they provided to him.
