Bart Bylsma

Bart Bylsma, age 74, of Hudsonville, went to be with the Lord on Saturday, May 25, 2019.  He was preceded in death by parents, Rev. Bartel and Elizabeth Bylsma. He will be lovingly remembered by his wife of 26 years, Pam; children, Karrie Irwin, Kelly and Darin Levander. He is also survived by his step-children, Angelique and Terry Randall, Jason and Emily Coffey, James Coffey, Jessica and Joel Springer; 5 grandchildren; 14 step-grandchildren; 5 step-great-grandchildren; and sister, Nelene Bylsma.  Bart started his employment career at Alofs Manufacturing, then Honeywell Information Systems, and then Belding Tank Technologies among others.  Funeral services will be held on Friday, May 31, 2019, at 11 a.m. at Fellowship Reformed Church, 6610 36th Ave., Hudsonville, with Rev. Shawn Hulst officiating.  Interment will be held at Blendon Township Cemetery.  Relatives and friends may meet the family on Thursday, May 30, from 4-8 p.m. at the church. (Please enter through door “A” or “D”.) An additional visitation will be held on Friday from 10-10:45 a.m. at the church prior to the service.  The family would like to express their sincere thanks to the staff at Mercy Health St. Mary’s Hospital, especially the oncology department, 4 Lacks, and The Hauenstein Center as well as the staff at Faith Hospice for the wonderful care given to Bart.  Those who wish may make memorial contributions to a charity of your choice.
