
Barry Mark Eisenga, age 72, of Hudsonville, went to be with his Lord on Thursday, October 10, 2024. Barry was a loving husband, father, grandfather, brother, and uncle. Barry graduated from Calvin Christian High School. He was owner of Eisenga Masonry for over 50 years, during 16 years of that time he also worked as a journeyman millwright at General Motors 36th St. Plant. Barry was a member of Bauer Christian Reformed Church for over 35 years and served as an elder and deacon for many years. He was especially proud of his work serving on the building and grounds committee. Barry enjoyed helping his children with home remodeling projects, family time, and getting to be a kid again with his four grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his sister, Dawn Seinen; sisters-in-law and brother-in-law, Sally and David VerKaik, and Susan Mosher. He will be lovingly remembered by his wife of 48 years, Betsy (McCallum) Eisenga; children, Adam and Bethany Eisenga, Katherine Miller; grandchildren, Jonathan, Sophie, Charlotte, and Hudson; siblings, Dawnlynn and Sam Suttorp, Jill and Rick VanEck, Sue and Kelly Moore; sisters-in-law and brothers-in-law, Cynthia and Rick Mouw, Sarah and Terry Prindle; and many nieces and nephews. Funeral services will be held on Tuesday, October 15, at 11 a.m. at Bauer Christian Reformed Church, 4958 Bauer Rd., Hudsonville, with Pastor Dave Ten Clay officiating. The burial will take place at Blendon Township Cemetery. Relatives and friends may visit with the family on Monday, October 14, from 4-7 p.m. at the church. Those who wish may make memorial contributions to Bauer Christian Reformed Church.
