Barbara Vander Band

Barbara Jean Vander Band, age 88, of Zeeland, went home to be with the Lord on Monday, April 19, 2021. She was preceded in death by her husband, Marvin. She will be lovingly remembered by her children, Linda and Clare Klamer, Bev and John Vander Loo, Marvin Jr. “Butch” and Deb Vander Band, Kevin and Kim Vander Band; 14 grandchildren; 34 great-grandchildren. Barbara loved bringing joy to people through knitting, crocheting, and baking. Relatives and friends may meet the family Monday, April 26, from 4-7 pm at Matthysse Kuiper DeGraaf Funeral Home (Grandville) 4145 Chicago Dr. SW. A private memorial service celebrating Barbara’s life will be held at a later date. Those who wish may make memorial contributions to SKLD Zeeland. The family wishes to thank the nurses and caregivers at SKLD Zeeland for all their love and compassionate care.
