Barbara Newenhouse

Barbara Ann Newenhouse, age 87, of Hudsonville, went to be with the Lord on Monday, March 16, 2026. She loved singing and found great joy in camping, traveling, and spending winters in Florida. A devoted wife, she cherished and enjoyed every moment spent with her family.

She will be lovingly remembered by her husband of 65 years, Wesley Newenhouse; children, Doug Newenhouse, Kimberly and Oega Meidema, Todd and Aisha Newenhouse; grandchildren and great-grandchildren, Chad Newenhouse (Harlan, Gerritt), Lisa Newenhouse, Brittany and David Rauwerda (Charlotte, Evelyn, Sophia, Philip), Jared and Lindsey Meidema, Wesley Meidema, Benjermen Newenhouse, Travis Newenhouse; sisters, Donna and Sherwin DeVries, Sharry and Jay Gilman; sisters-in-law and brothers-in-law, Lynda and Jack Zomerlei, Duwayne and Sharlene Newenhouse, Randy and Deb Newenhouse, Larry and Audrey Newenhouse, LaJean and Todd VanEk; and many nieces and nephews.

Funeral services will be held at 11 a.m. on Saturday, March 21, at Hanley Christian Reformed Church, O-372 Jackson St. SW, Grandville, with Rev. Joseph VandenAkker officiating. The burial will take place at Floral View Memorial Gardens. Relatives and friends may visit with the family on Friday, March 20, from 5-8 p.m. at Matthysse Kuiper DeGraaf Funeral Home (Jamestown) 2371 Riley St., Hudsonville.
