Barbara Kietzman

Barbara Kietzman, age 72, of Wyoming, was called to her eternal home in heaven on Sunday, July 28, 2019. She was preceded in death by her father, Lawrence Wilberts, and parents-in-law, Lyle and Myra Kietzman.  She will be lovingly remembered by her husband of 52 years, Dale; her children, Matthew Kietzman, Melissa Kietzman-Malloy; grandchildren, Lawrence (Lawton), Reed, Macy Kietzman, Kasandra, Kourtny Malloy; her mother, Ruby House; best friend, Patty and John Isler, brother-in-law, Larry and Lorraine Kietzman.  Barb was a warm, loving, caring wife, mother, and grandmother.  She was always available to her family for counsel and advice.  Family was very important to her and always gave her a reason to cook and have family gathered around the table. Barb enjoyed trying new recipes and experimenting in the kitchen. She loved to read, crochet and make clothes for the girls’ American Girl dolls. She and Dale were faithful attendees at the grandchildren’s sporting events, regardless of the location. Funeral services will be held at 11:00 am on Tuesday, August 6, at Matthysse Kuiper DeGraaf Funeral Home, 4145 Chicago Dr., Grandville, with Pastor Dennis Gilbert officiating.  Interment at Chapel Hill Memorial Gardens. Relatives and friends may meet the family Monday from 2-4 and 6-8 pm and one hour prior to the service at the funeral home. Those who wish may make memorial contributions to Brookcrest Nursing Center or Spectrum Health Hospice.
