Barbara Jo DeGennaro

Barbara “Barbie” Jo DeGennaro, age 58, of Kentwood, passed away peacefully Sunday, June 19, 2022 after a long illness. She was preceded in death by her parents, Angelo and Concetta Mary DeGennaro (Bulgarella); brother, Peter DeGennaro; sister, Pat Terpening; grandparents; and great-nephew, Jared Rodriguez. She is survived by her beloved dog Gizmo, uncle, Anthony Bulgarella; aunts, Rosaria Bulgarella and Lena Priest; siblings, Mary DeGennaro, Lawrence DeGennaro, and Michele Boorsma; brother-in-law, Tim Terpening; nieces, Terry (Mike) Wolters, Kori DeGennaro, Ashley (AJ) Haardt, Chelsi DeGennaro, Nicole Adams, and Megan Boorsma; nephew, Ryan (Kerri) Filighera; great-nieces and great-nephews, Brittan Wolters, Danielle (Josh) Rozeboom, Layla Filighera, Olivia Haardt, Jack Haardt, and Benjamin Adams; and many friends near and far. A graveside service will be held at 10:30 a.m. on Thursday, June 30, at Resurrection Cemetery, 4100 Clyde Park SW, Wyoming MI 49509.
