Barbara Jean Bosma

Barbara Bosma, age 96, of Caledonia, went home to be with her Heavenly Father on Friday, December 26, 2025. Barbara had the heart of a teacher her whole life and was a talented artist and storyteller. Her service to others was an inspiration to all she knew. She was preceded in death by her loving husband, Jameson Bosma; her siblings; and her granddaughter, Sara Wind. She will be lovingly remembered by her children, Ginny and Jim Hartger, Douglas and Cheryl Bosma, David and Cindy Bosma, Laurie and Randy DeBoer, Deb and Craig McCarty; many grandchildren and great-grandchildren; sisters-in-law, Kathleen Brown, Jean Bosma; and many nieces and nephews. Funeral services will be held 12 pm Friday, January 2,  at Hillside Community Church, 1440 68th St SE SE, Grand Rapids with Rev. Ron Kool officiating.  A private burial will be held  for the family at Blain Cemetery.  Relatives and friends may meet the family Friday from 10-11:45 am at the church.  Those who wish may make memorial contributions to Hillside Community Church Children’s Ministry.
