Robert Quick

Robert Quick, age 72, of Allendale, was called home by his Savior while surrounded by his friends and family on Friday, October 16, 2026. Bob began his early life by working the family farm and then drove trucks for the remaining 44 years of his life. He loved his job and through it Bob made many lifelong friends. Throughout Bob’s life he cared deeply for others. He was extremely dedicated to his friends and family and would give the shirt off of his back for any of them. Bob was an excellent storyteller and loved talking with others, a passion that made him able to make fast friendships. He will be remembered for his unwavering faith, his devotion to his work, and his unique gift of gab. He was preceded in death by his parents, Jay and Irene Quick, and his brother, Calvin Quick. Bob will be lovingly remembered by several nieces, nephews, and cousins of the Quick and Knap families, as well as his dear friends in the Meyer family.

Funeral services will be held at 11 am on Tuesday, October 20, 2026, at Rusk Christian Reformed Church, 10354 92nd Ave., Allendale, with Pastor Mark Neymeiyer officiating. Burial will take place at Rusk Cemetery. Relatives and all friends may visit with the family Monday, October 19 from 5-8 pm at church and again on Tuesday from 10-11 am prior to the service. Those who wish may make memorial contributions to Rusk CRC.
