Barbara Fleming

Barbara Marie Fleming, age 86, of Jenison, went to be with her Lord and reunited with her two boys in Heaven on Monday, December 13, 2021. Barb was known for her great sense of humor, and as a bookkeeper for many years at Holy Name of Jesus. She was preceded in death by her sons, Anthony and Michael. Barb will be lovingly remembered by her husband of 68 years, Bert; her daughter, Julie and Bill Pries; daughter-in-law, Pam Fleming; 11 grandchildren; 16 great-grandchildren; sister, Sally and Charlie Chandler; several nieces and nephews. Funeral Mass will be held at 11 am on Thursday, December 16, 2021 at Holy Redeemer Catholic Church, 2700 Baldwin St., Jenison, with Fr. Colin Mulhall officiating. Burial Resurrection Cemetery. Relatives and friends may meet the family Wednesday, December 15, from 5-8 pm at Matthysse Kuiper DeGraaf Funeral Home (Grandville) 4145 Chicago Dr. SW., with a vigil at 8 pm. Those who wish may make memorial contributions to assist with funeral expenses or to Right to Life.
