Barbara Ann Runyon

Barbara Ann Runyon, age 83, of Grand Rapids went to be with her Lord on Sunday, January 11, 2026. She was preceded in death by her husband, Jack Runyon; parents, Charles and Lucille Heitz; siblings, Sr. Janet Marie Heitz O.P., and Jacqueline Smith; brother in law, Thomas Robinson. She will be lovingly remembered by her siblings, Geraldine Henkel, Nancy and Raymond Henkel, Paul Heitz, Mary Wyrick, Tom and Pam Heitz; sister in law, Arlene Robinson; brother in law, Robert Smith and many loving nieces and nephews. She was an accomplished seamstress and was able to travel to many locations around the world with her husband, Jack. Mass of Christian Burial will be held 1 p.m on Friday, January 23, 2026 at St. Ann’s Home, 2161 Leonard St NW, Grand Rapids.  Burial will be held at Assumption Cemetery.  Relatives and friends may meet the family Friday, January 23, 2026 at St. Ann’s Home from 12:30- 1:00 pm prior to the Mass. Those who wish may make memorial contributions to Dominican Sisters of Grand Rapids.
