Audrey   VanNorman

VanNorman, Audrey Audrey VanNorman, age 84, of Grand Rapids, won her battle with Alzheimer’s on Thursday, July 17, 2014 and is now reunited with her husband, Jack, who preceded her in 1984.  She was also preceded in death by her parents, 2 brothers and 2 sisters.  Audrey was a loving and vibrant mother, grandmother, and great grandmother who cherished her family.  She was blessed with a feisty spirit, a great sense of humor, and the gift to cook amazing meals and bake tasty treats.  She will be lovingly remembered by her children, Jerry and Karen VanNorman, Kevin and Lori VanNorman; grandchildren, Shannon and Robert Nealon of Boston, MA, Andrew VanNorman, Perri VanNorman; great grandchildren, Alec, Gavin, and Jackson; sister, Patricia Boegner; brother-in-law, Larry and Carol-Lynn VanNorman; and many nieces and nephews.  Funeral services will be held on Saturday 3 PM at Matthysse-Kuiper-DeGraaf Funeral Home (Grandville) 4145 Chicago Drive SW with Pastor Dennis Gilbert officiating.  Interment Chapel Hill Memorial Gardens.  Relatives and friends may meet the family prior to the service on Saturday from 1-3 PM.  Those who wish may make memorial contributions to the Alzheimer’s Association.  Condolences may be sent online at www.mkdfuneralhome.com.
