Arthur Feenstra, age 84, formerly of Jenison, passed peacefully into the arms of his Savior on Saturday, October 29, 2016. He is survived by his wife of 63 years, Helen (Oetman); his children, Ronald (Barbara) Feenstra, James (Wendy) Feenstra, Beverly Feenstra-Londo; grandchildren, Elizabeth Feenstra, Sarah Feenstra (fiancé, Jeff Gilson), Erica (Benjamin) Post, Grace Feenstra, Jaclyn Feenstra, Nathan Holstege, Michelle Feenstra; sisters-in-law and brothers-in-law, Nancy Feenstra, Mary Oetman, Edna VanderSluis, Elinor (Ronald) Koetsier, Joe (Kaye) Ver Meulen, Corlyn Oetman; and several nieces and nephews. Arthur proudly served in the US Army for two years and worked as a lineman and as a transformer repairman at Consumers Power/Energy for 43 years. He enjoyed snowmobiling, camping, boating, and repairing engines. He served as an elder and deacon at First Jenison Christian Reformed Church, where he was a lifelong member. Funeral services will be held on Thursday 10:30 am at Baldwin Street Christian Reformed Church, 2101 Baldwin St., Jenison, with Rev. John Witvliet officiating. Interment Georgetown Township Cemetery. Relatives and friends may meet the family Wednesday from 5-8 pm at Matthysse-Kuiper-DeGraaf Funeral Home (Grandville) 4145 Chicago Dr. SW.
