Antonio Rios

Antonio Rios, age 83, of Grand Rapids, was called to his heavenly home on Saturday, November 13, 2021. Antonio was a hard working man who spent 17 years employed at American Plastics. Even after retirement he continued working. He loved to cook and would prepare meals to take to the migrant workers in the blueberry fields even as far away as South Haven. He was humble, caring and loved his family. Every weekend he would take the grandkids to breakfast and shopping. He was a man of his word and could be counted on to follow through on his promises. He was preceded in death by his two daughters; Elena Rios, Imelda Rios, and one son; Cesar Rios. He will be lovingly remembered by his wife of 66 years, Candida, his children; Maria (Jose) Garcia Rios, Lupe (Fidel) Gutierrez Rios, Antonio (Flor) Rios, Miguel Rios, Francisco Rios, Eddie Rios; 25 grandchildren, 9 great-grandchildren, many nieces, nephews, cousins, and dear friends. Funeral services will be held Thursday, November 18, 2021 11 am at Matthysse Kuiper DeGraaf Funeral Home, 4031 Clyde Park SW, Wyoming, with Rev. Israel Morales officiating. Burial Winchester Cemetery. Relatives and friends may meet the family Wednesday, from 4 - 8 pm at Matthysse Kuiper DeGraaf Funeral Home, 4031 Clyde Park SW, Wyoming.
