
Anthony L. Martini, a dedicated Navy veteran, cherished father, beloved grandfather, and adoring great-grandfather, passed away on Monday, March 17, 2025, leaving a legacy of love, strength, and service. He was the devoted husband of Barbara Martini, with whom he shared an extraordinary 59 years of marriage. Their enduring bond stood as a testament to their unwavering love and partnership. Tony served his country with honor and pride, embodying the values of duty and resilience throughout his life. Beyond his military service, he touched the lives of many with his kindness, humor, and steadfast commitment to his family. As a father to his three children, he guided with wisdom and love; as a grandfather and great-grandfather, he brought joy and warmth to his descendants. Tony’s memory will live on in the hearts of all who knew him. His legacy is marked not only by his accomplishments but also by the countless lives he enriched. He will be deeply missed, yet fondly remembered by his family, friends, and all whose lives he touched. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Saturday, March 22, at 10 a.m. at St. Pius X Catholic Church, 3937 Wilson SW, Grandville, with Fr. Stephen Durkee presiding. The burial will take place at Grandville Cemetery. Relatives and friends may visit with the family on Saturday from 9-10 a.m. at the church prior to the service. Those who wish may make memorial contributions to the Alzheimer’s Association.
