Annetta M. Yff

Annetta M. Yff, age 83, of Grand Rapids, went to the arms of Jesus on Monday, July 24, 2023. She was preceded in death by her husband of 62 years, Robert; her parents, Ynze and Jennie (Vander Plaats) Poelstra. She will be lovingly remembered by her children, Sheryl Graham, Henrietta Malone, Bob Yff Jr., Crystal Ray, Tammie and Sean Johnson, Larry and Jonetta Yff; grandchildren, Renee, Jesse, Glen, Sondra, Pam, Wayne and Jess, Marissa, India, Jai’Onna, Rosco, Donovan, Jaylyn and Sid, Essence, Boston, Jourdan, Isaiah, Jeremiah, Elijah, Zara; many great-grandchildren; siblings, John and Carol Poelstra, Richard Poelstra, Julie Yff. Annetta attended Pine Rest School of Nursing where she received her LPN degree. She retired as a home health care nurse. Annetta volunteered with Samaritans Carriage for many years. She was a longtime member of First Christian Reformed Church in Grand Rapids. She loved her family and all of her ladies groups. She enjoyed camping, thrift shopping, taking trips to Shipshewana, swimming, and walking. Memorial services will be held Saturday, August 12, 2023, 1:30 pm at First Christian Reformed Church, 651 M.L.K. Jr. St. SE, Grand Rapids, MI 49507 with Rev. Randy Buursma officiating. Burial Winchester Cemetery. Relatives and friends may meet the family Saturday, August 12 from 12:30 - 1:30 pm at church. Those who wish may make memorial contributions to David’s House Ministries on Banner St. Flowers may be sent to the church.
