Anne Meda Hertel

Anne M. Hertel, age 86, of Wyoming, passed away peacefully surrounded by family and friends on Wednesday, April 12, 2023. She was preceded in death by her husband, John Hertel; brother, Thomas Noffsinger; sister, Linda Shurmack. Anne will be lovingly remembered by her children, Susan Hertel, Joan E Hertel, Jeffrey and Theresa Hertel; grandchildren, Andrew and Rachel Glynn, Alexander Hertel, Jack Hertel; brother, Lee and Lori Noffsinger; sisters-in-law, Merilyn Evans, Sandra Colyer, Linda Mcclanahand; many nieces and nephews who loved their Auntie Anne. She leaves behind many friends from Chippewa Lake and caring neighbors. The family would like to thank the staff at Clark Assisted Living and Faith Hospice for their loving care of our mom. Funeral services will be held at 11 a.m. Thursday, April 20, 2023, at Matthysse Kuiper DeGraaf Funeral Home, 4145 Chicago Dr. SW, Grandville, with Pastor Danielle Veenstra officiating. Burial will be held at Rest Lawn Memorial Park. Relatives and friends may meet the family from 10 - 11 a.m. at the funeral home before services. In lieu of flowers memorial contributions may be made to Faith Hospice or to Pound Buddies Animal Shelter (3279 E Laketon Ave, Muskegon, MI 49442).
