
On Wednesday, November 9, 2022, Annabelle Driesenga, age 96, of North Blendon, took the hand of Jesus and was ushered into glory and now joins her husband, Peter W. Driesenga, and her son, Charles Driesenga. Annabelle was a kind and loving mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, and great-great-grandmother who cherished her family. She was blessed with a servant’s heart and actively served her church where she was a dearly loved member for over 70 years. She will be lovingly remembered by her children, Jan and Scott Bryan, Gail Vredeveld, Bob and Donna Driesenga, Iris “Ike” and Terry Michael; 21 grandchildren; 28 great-grandchildren; 2 great-great-grandchildren; sister, Irene and Jim Woodwyk; brother, Larry Bosch; sisters-in-law and brother-in-law, Harriet Tilman, Wilma Schierbeek, Calvin Sall; many loving nieces, nephews, cousins, and several dear friends. Funeral services will be held at 1 pm on Monday, November 14, 2022 at North Blendon Christian Reformed Church, 7284 Taylor St., Hudsonville with Rev. Aaron Vriesman officiating. Burial Blendon Township Cemetery. Relatives and friends may meet the family Monday from 11 am to 1 pm prior to the service at church. Those who wish may make memorial contributions to North Blendon CRC, Mississippi Christian Family Services (MCFS), or to Spectrum Hospice. The family would like to extend their sincere thanks and appreciation to the staff and caregivers of Spectrum Hospice for the love and compassionate care given to Annabelle.
