Anna “Babe” Brunink, age 94, of Jenison, has gone to her heavenly home on Thursday, June 1, 2017. She was proceeded in death by her husband, Evart; brothers, Edward and Arthur; and great grandson, Elijah. She is survived by her children, Donald (Elaine) Brunink, Sue (Bob) Wierenga, Lynn (John) VanderLugt; sisters-in-law, Maxine Postmus and Jean DeYoung. She was blessed with 11 grandchildren and 23 great-grandchildren, who were the joy of her life. Babe and Evart enjoyed many summers at Paradise Cove in Sand Lake and winters in Treasure Island, Florida. They were lifetime members of Richmond Reformed Church. A celebration of her life will be held at Rosewood Reformed Church, 2795 Rosewood, Jenison, on Monday, June 5 at 6:30 PM, officiated by Pastor Christopher Westerbeek. There will be a time of visitation from 5-6:30 prior to the service. The service will be followed by a light supper. The family would like to thank American House Cottonwood Building staff for their care and support. Memorial contributions can be made to Bethany Christian Services or Spectrum Hospice.
