Angelyn Vincent

Angelyn (Bosch) Vincent, age 91, went home to be with her Lord on Thursday, November 21, 2019.  Born on February 29, 1928 in Holland, Michigan, she married Eugene Vincent on August 5, 1952. Angie was a loving wife, mother, grandmother, sister, aunt and friend.  A gifted seamstress, she made clothes and Halloween costumes for herself and her children.  She was a founding member of Holy Trinity Episcopal Church, back when they worshipped in the chicken coop prior to building the existing church. Angie, Gene and their family liked to camp and Angie was proud of the fact that she could haul the trailer and park it herself when Gene no longer went camping.  She was very good at problem solving and has been known to use a twist tie for repairs, and never threw away a “good box”.  Angie was active in the Firefighters Ladies Auxiliary and was on many committees at Holy Trinity.  She also always had room for one more at her table and instilled this spirit of inclusion in her kids. She was preceded in death by her parents, her husband Eugene, daughter Paula, and sisters Ann, Pauline and Barb. Left behind to celebrate her are her children: Karen (Kevin) Johnston, Michael (Kathryn) Vincent, grandchildren: Andriana (Matt) Messer, Ashley Rummelt, Austin (Annabelle) Vincent and great grandsons Owen Rummelt and Axten Vincent.  She is also survived by her brother in law Wes Paauwe and many nieces and nephews. A celebration of life for Angelyn will be held 11:00 a.m. Tuesday, December 3 at Holy Trinity Episcopal Church, 5333 Clyde Park Ave SW, Wyoming, Mi 49509 with Rev. Peter Homeyer officiating.  Relatives and friends may meet the family on Tuesday one hour prior to the service at the church. Memorial contributions may be made to Holy Trinity Episcopal Church or a charity of your choice.  Condolences may be sent online at www.mkdfuneralhome.com
