Andrew “Drew” Thompson, age 55, of Allendale, passed away peacefully on Monday, January 25, 2021. He was preceded in death by his parents, Joan and John Thompson. He will be lovingly remembered by his wife of 20 years, Patricia; children, Chris (Elon) Rose, Joe (Stacey) Hart; grandchildren, Joey, Sammy and Ronnie Hart; siblings, Alta (Joe) Jackson, Kenny (Elaine) Thompson, Mark (Jean) Thompson; close family friend, Sean Sawyer; and precious pets, Smokey, Prissi, Junior, Sparkey, Gemma, Betty Mae, Lucy, Mikey; and many nieces and nephews. Drew served our country as a member of the United States Navy. He was a co-founder of the band, Electrick Toyz. Funeral services will be held 2:00 pm on Monday, February 1, 2021 at Matthysse Kuiper DeGraaf Funeral Home (Allendale) 6651 Scott St. Burial Allendale Township Cemetery. Relatives and friends may meet the family Sunday from 2-5 and 6-9 pm at Matthysse Kuiper DeGraaf Funeral Home (Allendale) 6651 Scott St. Due to gathering restrictions, there will be a limit on the number of people who may enter the building at a time.
