Andrew Lee Geister Jr.

Andrew Lee Geister Jr., age 42, of Kentwood, passed away suddenly on Tuesday, December 19, 2023. Andy graduated from Kelloggsville High School and University of Phoenix with a degree in Criminal Justice. He loved football, especially the Detroit Lions. Most of all, he loved his family and pets. He will be lovingly remembered by his sons, Gavin (Ella) Geister, Ytuong Bya; parents, Carole and Rick Whitney, Andrew Lee Geister Sr.; siblings, Mandy and Nick Geister-LeBouef, Chris and Lisa Geister, Jaime and DaKin Shoemaker, Chelsey Whitney, Morgan (Adam) Whitney; many nieces and nephews; and his beloved dogs, Dutch and Shayna. He was preceded in death by his dog, Duke. A memorial service will be held at 2 p.m. on Friday, January 5, 2024 at Matthysse Kuiper DeGraaf Funeral Home, 4031 Clyde Park Ave SW, Wyoming.
