Amy Renee O’Hearn-DeGraaf

Amy Renee O’Hearn-DeGraaf, age 56, of Wyoming, was called to her heavenly home on Wednesday, April 26, 2023. Amy was a warm, loving, caring wife, mom, daughter, sister and aunt. She loved taking care of her home and being with her dogs and cats while John was at work. She was known for adopting stray animals. Amy kept up on all of the political and world events. She enjoyed watching John bowl on Friday evenings and socializing with the other bowlers. She will be lovingly remembered by her husband of 29 years, John; son, Matthew John DeGraaf; mother, Kathleen O’Hearn; step-mother, Corinne DeGraaf; brother, Todd (Connie) O’Hearn; sister, Kelly Finnegan; brothers-in-law, Robert DeGraaf, Alexander (Pat) Lind; sisters-in-law, Pam (Tim) Sijacic, Kim (John) Schaub; many nieces, nephews, cousins and dear friends. She was predeceased by her father, Thomas O’Hearn, and father-in-law, Robert Dale DeGraaf. A memorial service will be held at 11 am on Friday, May 5, 2023 at Matthysse Kuiper DeGraaf Funeral Home, 4031 Clyde Park SW, Wyoming, with Chaplain Steve Faulk officiating. Burial at Resurrection Cemetery. Relatives and friends may meet the family Friday, May 5 from 10 - 11 am at the funeral home. There will also be a Celebration of Life at Westgate Lanes, 4486 Alpine Ave., NW, Comstock Park, on Sunday, May 7, 2023 at 1 pm. Those who wish may make memorial contributions to Michele’s Rescue.
